Junior Marketing Manager

Algae Capital is fast-growing in the world of plant-based Omega-3 oil. We believe that doing something durable should be easy. That is exactly what the algae world lacks and this is the reason why Algae Capital was founded in 2022. Scaling up an algae factory requires a high investment, but we make it possible by combining forces with our partners. To do so, we have all the necessary knowledge, skills, know-how and people to take the entire process from building construction to sales out of hands.

Due to increasing international demand for algae factories, we are looking for a new addition to our headquarters in Naaldwijk. You will support the sales & marketing team in its daily operations and help us to achieve our ambitious goals!

The Role

As our Junior Marketing Manager, you are in charge of developing, implementing, monitoring and adjusting the organisation’s marketing and social media strategy. Your goal is to ensure that our communication to the outside world is properly coordinated at all times and always hits the right note in both text and image. In addition, you are responsible for the general business operations and supporting the sales team.

You will update and execute the marketing planning on a daily basis, quickly switching between for example a copy writer, videographer and other concerned parties. You develop original ideas for our website and our other social media channels, you create our monthly newsletter and you support our PR and event-driven activities. In addition to the work for our online channels, you also make designs for, among other things, our printed promo material.

Your Profile

A strong desire to achieve something special and make an impact. You don’t mind working hard, you care about getting the job done. Passion and conviction are the driving forces behind everything you do. We are looking for someone with:

• A completed HBO (college) education in Marketing, Communication or similar
• Both Dutch and English proficiency in speaking and writing
• The analytical ability to perfectly match content creation with our digital strategy
• Sufficient knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office and experience with social media platforms
• An agile and flexible mindset
• A structured and accurate workflow
• Good listening and communication skills
• Self-starting ability and discipline
