After more than 10 years of extensive research into microalgae cultivation in a greenhouse, Algae Capital is starting the realization of a 2-hectare production facility in Iceland this year.

We are looking for a Key Account Manager to join our team at the headquarters in Naaldwijk! In this role, you will be responsible for expanding and maintaining our customer base.

What will you be doing?

As a Key Account Manager, you will identify new business opportunities, build relationships with potential customers, and address their needs. You will work closely with the sales and marketing team to effectively position the products in the market and increase revenue. Your tasks will include:

  • Identifying (potential) clients and determining their needs
  • Proactively approaching potential clients and building sustainable relationships
  • Evaluating existing customer approach guidelines in tools like PipeDrive
  • Contributing to the development of strategic sales plans and marketing campaigns
  • Researching conducted market studies, such as analyzing direct and indirect competitors, market trends, and developments

  • Minimum HBO (Bachelor's degree) level of education (in a commercial field)
  • Knowledge of markets in the food and supplements industry
  • Strong communication skills
  • A structured and precise working method
  • Internationally oriented and willingness to travel (internationally)
  • Proficiency in both Dutch and English, both written and spoken
